This could also be for men too. Have a great day everyone!
This holiday season, don't forget to give yourself the gift of health. "It's very easy to feel overwhelmed during the holidays, especially for women, who take on much of the work, from decorating the house to buying gifts to cooking."
Recommended things to keep yourself healthy this holiday season:
1. Rest Up. Get plenty of sleep. Take a hot bath before bed to calm your nerves.
2. Order In. Lose the guilt and order in a veggie pizza once in a while instead of feeling compelled to cook a full meal.
3. Switch To Tea. "Caffeinated coffee can make you hyper." But chamomile and passionflower tea are de-stressors.
4. Take A Walk. "Walking is more effective than Prozac." Exercising and being a little bit in the sun every day will do wonders.
5. Don't Give To Everyone. Saying no doesn't mean you're a Scrooge. If your asked to take on too many holiday duties, just say no or delegate.
